APC declares Edo governorship primary election inconclusive, fixes Thursday for completion 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) on Tuesday in Abuja, declared Saturday’s Edo governorship primary election as inconclusive.
Mr Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary announced this while speaking with newsmen at the end of an emergency meeting conveyed to consider the report on the Edo governorship primary election.
“The NWC deliberated on the report and resolved that the Edo Governorship Primary Election has not been completed and has now fixed Thursday Feb. 22, 2024 for the completion of the primary election process,” he said.
The Edo governorship primary election which was conducted by the Gov. Hope Uzodinma-led APC Edo Governorship Primary Election Committee had been following by criticism from some members of the party.
This, is as three aspirants are claiming to have won the primary which was characterised by sharp practices in most parts of the state.(https://newsatlarge.ng).
