Medical lab council mourns Registrar, describes him as tireless reformer
The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria has described its late Registrar, Prof. Tosan Erhabor, as “a transformational leader and tireless reformer”.
The council, in a statement by Mrs Fidelia Ibeh, Head of its Corporate Affairs Unit, said Erhabor successfully digitalised the council’s processes.
“The transformation enhanced effectiveness, efficiency and transparency,” the statement said.
The statement recalled that Erhabor who died on Sunday, April 13, joined the council in 2006 from the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
It added that the deceased rose through the ranks to become a Registrar, a position he held until his death.
According to the council, Erhabor’s legacy of commitment to excellence in service delivery will always be remembered and cherished.
“He worked tirelessly to expand the scope of medical laboratory accreditation and strengthened our training institutions, among other significant achievements,” the statement added.(https://newsatlarge.ng)
