Group felicitates Obasanjo @ 88 described him as rare gift to Africa
The Centre For Wounded Servicemen and Fallen Heroes Supports Fund (CFWS&FHSF) has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a brave leader and a rare gift, whom God has brought to Africa and the world.
Gen. Cecil Esekhiagbe (Rtd), the Centre’s Board Chairman said this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja while felicitating the former president on his 88th birthday.
He wished the former president God’s protection, good health and long life as you clocked 88.
“May this special birthday be a celebration of all your accomplishments and a reminder of the great things that are yet to come.
“You have demonstrated uncommon bravery, exemplary and fearless, remarkable vision and solomonic wisdom in all that you do,”Esekhiagbe said.
He further described Obasanjo as an esteemed political leader and revered elder and father of the nation, noting that his life journey was marked by unwavering dedication and resilience.
He added that the former president’s commitment to the progress and well-being of the nation as a distinguished political leader and contributions had left an indelible mark on Nigeria, Africa and the entire world.
He praised Obasanjo’s steadfast advocacy for justice, equity and sustainable development across the federation, saying his leadership had been a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for generations.
