Council honours late registrar, described his death as great loss

The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has held a service of songs in honour of its late Registrar, Prof. Tosan Erhabor, who passed away on April 13, describing his death as a great loss to the council.

The service was held in Abuja, and his remains is scheduled to be flown to Benin, Edo State for burial on Thursday.

Dr Donald Ofili, Acting Registrar of the council, in a speech, described Erhabor as a lover of all who left an indelible mark on the field of medical laboratory science.

“We greatly miss him, first for his personality and secondly as the Registrar of the council. He touched many lives; it’s a great loss personally and professionally,” he said.

According to Ofili, the service of songs and night of tributes were held to honour the memory of such a remarkable personality who served God and the people to the best of his ability.

Also speaking, Dr Dakuku Peterside, former member of the House of Representatives, described Erhabor as an upright man of integrity who upheld the council with dedication.

Peterside, the immediate past Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, added that Erhabor was simple at heart and a man who loved excellence.

“The impact he made on the council will be remembered for a long time,” he said.(https://newsatlarge.ng)
