Ogun ADC youth leaders to rally support for Otegbeye party’s governorship candidate

Mr Balogun Khalil, Special Adviser to ADC National Chairman on Youth, Strategy and Innovation  said this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.
He said the youths took the decision to rally support for Otegbeye at a meeting held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Liberary in Abeokuta.
He said the meeting was held to discuss the party’s future, before, during and after the 2023 general elections.
Khalil added that the youths also resolved to consolidate and harmonise the party’s entire youth council in Ogun with at least 350,000 youth structure.
This, he said, included youths that decamped to the ADC from other opposition political parties following the warm handshake the youth council received from Otegbeye.
“The party’s youth league also resolved that they would do all in their power to work with the leadership of Chief Derin Odebiyi in Ogun.
“This is because they believe his experience was highly needed in the months ahead to win all seats in the 2023 general elections,” he said.
According to the statement, other youth leaders at the meeting include: Mr Rahman Ogunlana: State Youth Leader, Afolabi Ibrahim: Senatorial Youth Leader, Ogun Central and Folorunsho Joshua among others (newsatlarge.ng/hhtp)
