Mr Jarret Tenebe, Chairman Edo All Progressives Congress (APC)has charged security agencies to be vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent a potential disruption of law and order in the state.

He specifically urged security agencies, including the police, Department of State Services (DSS), and Nigeria Army to put measures in place to prevent the planned disruption aimed to influence the ongoing Edo Governorship tribunal seating.
According to Tenebe, supporters of opposition PDP plan to carry out this unlawful act on Tuesday, March 4, highlighting the need for the security agencies to be proactive in preventing it.
He further urged security agencies to take the threat serious and hold organisers of the protest accountable for the outcome of their actions.
He emphasised that the APC in Edo would not tolerate any attempt to compromise the judicial process or disrupt peace and orderliness in Edo.
The PDP and Asua Ighodalo, its governorship candidate in Edo Sept. 21, 2024 governorship election were currently challenging the outcome of the election in court.
