‎Foundation offers free medical outreach , donates food items to Kaduna community ‎

The When in Need Foundation, an NGO  has offered free medical outreach and donated food items to a community in Kaduna State,  a gesture described as a life-changing initiative for the vulnerable population.

‎Dr Chetachi  Nwoga, Founder and CEO of the foundation said the outreach was to provide essential support to children, youth, and women in the community, including baby food, rice, noodles, and free medical care.

‎According to Nwoga, the outreach programme was held in celebration of her late mother, who passed on March 1st, 2025.

‎”I decided to celebrate my mom, her legacy, and the woman that she was.

‎”And not only celebrating her, but to reach out to those in need, especially orphans, widows, and vulnerable children here in Nigeria that are lacking basic necessities,” she said.

‎Nwoga said she had devoted her salaries and earnings to what she does, saying she would take the outreach to other places.

‎”I am going to do this for the rest of my life, not only because of my mother, but because of her generation.

“This includes my own children: her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and her generation yet to be born,” she said.

‎Nwoga said the foundation aimed to continue its outreach efforts, with plans to expand to more states and communities in need.

‎”My foundation is non-profit. I’m not for politics, I’m just for humanity, and I am going to take this mission to  more states that I can reach,” she said.

‎Also, Chief Deputy Dejan Jop and the community leaders praised the foundation for the good work.

‎ “Somebody who has gathered her own wealth,  sweat and  hard work to see how she can bring forth and bring baby foods,  food to youth and women, is worthy of emulation,” Jop said.(https://newsatlarge.ng)
