The Tinubu Movement for Sustainable Governance Foundation (TMS),has called for greater unity, entrepreneurship and collaboration among government institutions to translate government economic reforms into visible improvements in the lives of citizens.

According to a statement issued by Mr Adebisi Adams, the TSM Director of Media and Strategic Communication on Saturday in Abuja, the group’s South-South Zonal Co-ordinator, Mr Ogio Clement made the call in Bayelsa.

He spoke at a town hall meeting and industrial training programme organised by the TSM where more than 200 participants received practical skills in soap making as part of its grassroots empowerment initiative.

It said the programme, themed “Empowering Nigerians for the Better,” brought together political stakeholders, community leaders, women and youths to discuss economic reforms.

Clement said the gathering was designed to combine public engagement with practical economic empowerment and deepen understanding of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

He explained that the training was to equip young people with marketable skills and support women to become economically independent while creating opportunities for communities to improve their livelihoods.

He said the training reflected TMS’s broader approach of combining political and policy engagement with skills acquisition and grassroots empowerment.

Clement urged participants to take advantage of the vocational training, describing skills acquisition as an important pathway to self-reliance.

He called on TMS co-ordinators in Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom and Cross River States to intensify grassroots engagement and strengthen unity within the movement.

The statement quoted the TMS National Co-ordinator and Chairman of its Board of Trustees,Mr Kashifu Abdullahi as commending the Bayelsa chapter for combining civic engagement with human-capital development.

He maintained that human capital investment was important and encouraged participants to embrace vocational training, entrepreneurship and innovation(https://newsatlarge.ng)
